Mark Davis’ passion for jazz, funk and soul goes back a long way. As a young boy living in sixties London, the music that fired him up was Motown. The love of soulful music with a strong beat and bass-line was carried into his teens and by the mid 1970s, Mark was in his element with the emergence of jazz funk. A DJ in and around London for the next 10 years, he also presented radio shows on JFM (and other stations) alongside legends such as Pete Tong and Steve Walsh. He is currently a monthly presenter on Solar Radio and has recently returned to live gigs.
Mark Davis has lived on the Isle of Wight since 2010 and works in the music business.
